With roughly 26,000 runners participating in 2021, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the fourth-largest race by number of finishers worldwide. Run by elite athletes and leisure runner alike, this celebrated marathon is one of the six World Marathon Majors, alongside the Boston, New York, London, Berlin, and Tokyo Marathons.
Starting and finishing in Grant Park, the flat and fast 26.2 mile course takes participants through 29 neighbourhoods, passing 1.7 million excited spectators and supporters.
